theroundone (Sole Proprietorship) (“theroundone”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates theroundone.com, an online aggregator marketplace that connects job seekers (“Interviewees”) with independent domain experts (“Interviewers”) for mock interview sessions (“Sessions”).

By accessing or using our platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

theroundone is a technology aggregator marketplace. We do not employ, direct, or control Interviewers in any way. Interviewers are independent professionals who set their own availability and conduct Sessions at their sole discretion.

We are not responsible for:

• The accuracy or completeness of any Interviewer's claimed credentials.
• The quality, outcome, or content of any Session.
• Any employment or hiring decisions made on the basis of a Session or its feedback.
• Any advice, guidance, or information provided during a Session.

You are strongly encouraged to independently verify an Interviewer's LinkedIn profile and professional credentials before booking a Session.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding contracts to use this platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

Interviewers must verify their identity via LinkedIn OAuth before their profile is approved and made publicly visible. By connecting your LinkedIn account, you confirm that the LinkedIn profile is your own. Providing false or misleading identity information is grounds for immediate account termination.

theroundone reserves the right to pause or remove any Interviewer profile at any time for any reason, including but not limited to suspected fraud, misrepresentation, or breach of these Terms.

Sessions are booked at a fixed fee of ₹575 per 30-minute session, payable in advance via UPI. Of this:

• ₹500 is the Interviewer's service fee.
• ₹75 is theroundone's platform fee.

Payment is made directly to theroundone's UPI account. Bookings are confirmed only after manual verification of the UPI transaction by our team, which may take up to a few hours. Submitting a false or incorrect UPI transaction ID is a breach of these Terms and may result in account suspension.

Refunds are processed to the Interviewee's UPI ID within 5–7 business days where applicable.

To raise a refund request, email support@theroundone.com with your booking ID within 48 hours of the scheduled session time.

Interviewers are eligible to receive their ₹500 payout after:

1. The Session is marked as completed.
2. The Interviewer submits candidate feedback via the dashboard.
3. A minimum of 6 hours has elapsed since completion (dispute window).

Payouts are processed manually by theroundone to the Interviewer's registered UPI ID or bank account. theroundone is not liable for delays caused by incorrect payout details provided by the Interviewer.

All parties agree to:

• Join the video call on time using the provided meeting link.
• Conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
• Not record, distribute, or share session content without explicit written consent of all parties.
• Not use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

theroundone may terminate access for any user found in breach of conduct standards.

Following a Session, Interviewers are required to submit structured feedback about the candidate (“Candidate Feedback”). This feedback is private by default.

Interviewees may choose to make their Candidate Feedback publicly visible on the theroundone Talent page (“Make feedback public” toggle). By doing so, you consent to your name, interview domain, interviewer's assessment, and session date being displayed to third parties (including recruiters). You may withdraw this consent at any time by toggling the setting off in your dashboard.

theroundone does not verify the accuracy of Candidate Feedback and is not liable for any employment decisions made on the basis of such feedback.

All platform content, trademarks, logos, and software are the property of theroundone. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. User-generated content (profile information, feedback) remains owned by its author; by submitting it you grant theroundone a royalty-free licence to display it on the platform.

theroundone collects personal data (name, email, phone, LinkedIn URL) necessary to provide the Service. Data is processed in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and applicable rules.

• Purpose limitation: Data is used only to operate the platform, verify identities, process bookings, and send transactional communications.
• Storage: Data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore & Authentication) servers. Firebase complies with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Retention: Account data is retained for 3 years after your last activity, or until deletion is requested.
• Third parties: We share minimum necessary data with payment processors (UPI) and email service providers (Resend) solely to fulfil the Service.
• Your rights: You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@theroundone.com. Deletion requests are fulfilled within 30 days.
• Cookies: We use essential session cookies only. No advertising or tracking cookies.

theroundone implements reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:

• Firebase Authentication for secure sign-in (email/password + phone OTP).
• LinkedIn OAuth for Interviewer identity verification.
• HTTPS-only communication.
• Role-based access controls (interviewee, interviewer, admin).

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@theroundone.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, theroundone and its proprietor shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the platform.
• Loss of employment opportunity or income based on session outcomes or feedback.
• Technical failures, service interruptions, or third-party platform outages.
• Acts or omissions of Interviewers (who are independent contractors).

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Session giving rise to the claim (₹575 maximum).

In the event of a dispute, please first contact us at support@theroundone.com. We will attempt to resolve disputes within 14 days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
